How We Used Our Free Bee Printables:
I thought it would be fun to wrap up our study with a fun homemade postcard to send to their grandparents telling them a little bit about what they learned.
So I took each of my kids aside and had them tell me one thing they wanted to share about what they learned these past couple of weeks on bees. I followed the example I learned about in the book Whole Families By Wild + Free. I had them each narrate to me what they wanted to write. Then I printed it with their grandparents address as well and gave it to them to copy on to the postcard.
Next they each drew their own picture for the front of their postcards.
I laminated them to protect them from the weather. They put on their stamps and we sent them in the mail.
I think their grandparents are going to love getting these and it was a great way to get some writing practice in as well!
Bees Can, have, and are…
In wrapping up our bee study unit we also used my free bee printables for asking the questions: “Bees Can…..?”, “Bees Have….?”, and “Bees are….?”.
This was a wonderful way to help my kids to recall some of the main things they learned about Bees and to show me what they learned as well.
I hope you find these free bee printables useful in your homeschool curriculum and study on bees! (SEE BELOW for free printables)
