A few months ago I started making my kids these fun, “What I learned” postcards with each new study unit as a way for them to finish up the study and share a bit about what they learned on each topic. We alternate between sending the postcards to each set of grandparents. The grandparents love getting these! The kids love illustrating the front and fill in the back with a short bit about what they learned following the line guides.
